QUOTE(teakb @ Jul 30 2007, 08:10 AM)
Hi Teakb here

Thank you for the web site information concerning modeling. This discussion has been helpful to me. I am teaching Erickb, Lukeb and Gusb to make polystyrene models. They each bought and built a B-17, with their yard work money, but not painted. Does anyone have an idea which airbrush/product line would be most suitable?I am thinking I should keep to acrylics for them but I wish to use enamel. The double action internal mix models look good but which one, Badger?
Since my birthday is coming up, my wife will say as always, get what you want dear you are worth it. I already have a suitable air compresser.

Well...i've never used an airbrush, and recently i'm painting with acrylics and oils,if you are going to let them use acrylics remember to spray a layer of either, gloss or dull coat to protect the finish. (Or.... future floor wax)

Apperently Aztec airbrushes offer very nice packages, not only the airbrush, but different kinds of needles and nozzels(was that the correct spelling? huh.gif )

Why would you try to bash my opinions?
I didn't bash on you. Calling you a moron would be bashing. If my question was bashing, does your remark about the modeling skills of Rojas-Bazan count as bashing too?

Knowledge? Forget that. I have 2 eyes that see very well. That's all that's needed to see that Rojas-Bazan is a world class modeler that has few (if any) equals. Calling his work unimpressive is unkind and ridiculous, even if you have more skill than he does.

And another thing... even if you are 16, that doesn't mean you can't be admonished. tongue.gif

O.k now..... i said it wasn't very impressive, not unimpressive, i did say too ''Kudos for the man'' This applies to:

''Wining and Losing are the same, the only thing that matters is the amount of effort you put into it.''

Now, if i insulted his effort.. now that would be unkind, stupid AND ridiculous.

I don't see the ending results anymore, i try to think about the effort someone puts into his job.

Admonish

1 a : to indicate duties or obligations to b : to express warning or disapproval to especially in a gentle, earnest, or solicitous manner
2 : to give friendly earnest advice or encouragement to

Look, you seem to be a bright individual who's trying to be honest to yourself.. however in light of the circumstances:

Great pictures, Ramm. What detail!

Well, gentlemen, if it continues, I'm sure the Marshall will be in here to lock this one and then that WILL finish the discussion... laugh.gif
