When flying the Bf 109F-4, methanol-water boost should be activated immediately and left on at all times; this is because the 109F-4 historically did not have the MW 50 equipment. Since MW 50 cannot be disabled in the game, the 109F-4's engine rating has been adjusted to its historical level _with MW 50 power addition included_. Thus, if MW 50 is not used, the 109F-4 will perform extremely poorly at low-to-medium altitudes.

Note that although "tropical" versions of the Spitfire and Bf 109 were used in the Mediterranean, the added drag of their sand filters has not yet been incorporated into the flight models; this refinement is currently planned for a future release.

The Fw 190A-4 is overarmed due to limitations in what can be changed in the game; it is fitted with 4 x MG 151/20 and 2 x MG 131 instead of 2 x MG 151/20, 2 x MG FF and 2 x MG 17. It weighs slightly more to reflect this, which may result in reduced performance when compared with historical figures.
